How to Make Mango Burfi Recipe at Home

Everyone loves mangoes. You can make many recipes using raw and ripe mangoes. Today I am going to share very easy recipe with mangoes which is Mango Burfi. It can easily be made at home using ripe mangoes. This burfi recipe is really easy and can be made in little time.Let see how to make it.
Mango Burfi Recipe at Home


Ingredients for Mango Burfi Recipe

  • Gram Flour(Besan)- 1 cup
  • Mango Pulp- 2 cups
  • Sugar- 3/4 cup or as required
  • Green Cardaamom- 1/4 tsp
  • Ghee/Clarified butter- 1/3 cup 

Preparation for Mango Burfi

For this recipe you can use ready made mango pulp available in the market. But if you have fresh mangoes then you can prepare it at home. Wash and peel mangoes. Take out all the pulp using knife and blend it in a blender. Your fresh mango pulp for mango burfi recipe is ready.

Method/How to make Mango Burfi

  • In a pan take mango pulp, sugar and cardamom powder. Cook them on slow flame until mango pulp gets thick.

  • Turn off the flame and keep it aside.
  • In a thick bottom pan take gram flour/besan and roast it on slow flame for about 1 minute. Keep stirring with a spoon.

  • After 2 minutes add clarified butter/ghee into it and stir it until gram flour/besan turns brown in color. 
  • Now add mango pulp into it and mix well until everything comes together.
  • Take a plate and grease it with clearified butter.
How to make mango burfi at home
  • Now turn off the flame and take out the mango burfi mixture into the greased plate and spread it evenly.
  • Let it cool.
  • After it cools down cut the Mango burfi into desired shape and enjoy.
